Project Meeting 3: Project Netlify, Project Poster

1. Project Netlify: Deployment & Integration

The team discussed the current status of the Netlify deployment.

  • CI/CD Sync: Resolved issues regarding the _site and _freeze folders causing merge conflicts. The team successfully implemented a .gitignore to ensure only source .qmd and .R files are tracked.

  • Link Resolution: Addressed the “Unable to resolve link target” warnings for proposal.qmd and findings.qmd. All navigation links in the cosmo theme sidebar are now functional.

  • Shiny Integration: Confirmed the Shiny application will be hosted on a separate ShinyApps.io server and embedded/linked within the main Netlify site.

2. Project Poster: Communicating the Results

The team brainstormed the visual layout for the project poster. The goal is to distill the complex COFINFAD analysis into a single, high-impact visual.

  • Core Narrative: The poster will focus on the “User Journey”—moving from raw demographic data (EDA) to behavioral segments (Clustering) and finally to satisfaction drivers (Prediction).

  • Key Visuals to Include:

    • The Half-Eye plots from the EDA phase to show data density.

    • A Cluster Dendrogram or PCA plot to visualize customer segmentation.

    • A Variable Importance Plot from the Random Forest model to show what truly drives Colombian fintech satisfaction.
